    • Great at explaining new concepts to customers to build trust and sales 

    • A person with extensive hospitality/retail/customer service experience that you can bring to the role

    The Role
    • Join a team of fellow wine sellers and share your passion with our engaged clientele as stewards for The Urban Grape’s goals of creating community through beverage, particularly as it relates to our proprietary Progressive Scale system.

    • Provide a warm and energetic customer experience when engaging with customers (whether in-person, by phone, by email, or face-to-face) to create memorable experiences, personalized recommendations, and tailored suggestions.

    • Find comfort in a fast-paced culture to drive sales through effective upselling techniques while guiding customers through the Progressive Scale. The ability to thrive in an environment where priorities may shift, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively to meet the needs of both customers and The Urban Grape.

    • Foster relationships, build customer loyalty, and offer an upbeat, positive persona in person, over the phone, and via email.

    • Work closely with colleagues to achieve sales targets and contribute to the store's overall success through teamwork and cooperation.

    • While no two days are the same in retail, daily tasks include inbound and outbound sales, order fulfillment, cash handling, store maintenance and cleanliness, product promotion, and sales support.
